Address Change

$5.00 Fee

• To perform the Change of Address request you must provide your Driver’s License Number and Date of Birth.
• A Change of Address card will be sent to your new address.
• For security purposes, a confirmation notice will be sent to your previous address on file.

Administrative Flags

$45.50

To perform this administrative flag transaction you must have the vehicle title number. It typically takes about 1-2 business days (not including holidays), to remove the flag from the system.

Registration Renewal (2-Year Renewal Only )

• To Renew your Registration, you must have the vehicle title number and the current vehicle tag number.
• Customers with a passenger vehicle, motorcycle, trailer or truck under 55,000 lbs can use this service.
• Customers with stickers expiring 15 days prior to the end of the month or the sticker has expired will receive an email with a copy of there temporary registration to print out, while receiving the original by mail.
• If you have outstanding parking tickets, insurance violations, etc., you cannot use this service and you will have to visit one of our MVA Full Service Offices.
• Stickers will be sent to address on file, unless an address change has been submitted below.

Personalized Plates

$125.00

• To order Personalized plates, you must have the vehicle title number and the current vehicle tag number.
• The charge for personalized plates is $125. (There is an additional $10 per year renewal fee required for Chesapeake Bay and Agricultural plates)
• Plates will be sent to the address on file unless an address change has been submitted below.

Non-Certified Driving Record is $19, Certified $22

• Driving Record (Non-Certified Driving Record ONLY)
• It typically takes about 7-10 business days (not including holidays), to receive your Driving Record.
• Driving Records will be mailed to the address that is on file with the MVA, unless a change of address has been submitted below.

• Drivers license number
• Last 4 digits of your social security number

• The Registration will be mailed to the address on record. Unless a change of address has been submitted below.
• The charges for a Duplicate Registration is $25.50. The fee is non-refundable.

• To perform this Replacement Title Request, you must have the vehicle title number.
• The Charge for a Replacement Title is $45.50
• If you have an MVA PIN or SSN you may request your title be mailed to a separate mailing address. this will not change the address currently on file with the MVA.

VEIP Extensions (Emissions)

• To performVEIP Extension request you must have the vehicle title number and the current vehicle tag number
• You can only request 1 extension online.
• Upon approval, a new VEIP inspection notification with the newly assigned expiration date will be sent to your current MVA address of record.
• The transaction will be processed and complete within 24 hours. You will receive an email confirmation with the new VEIP Date.
